Step by step process

This is what happens throughout the process of a Kind Pet cremations:Call us on telephone 07443 668 579 or make an order online;

  1. When making your order think about whether you want any extras - we provide scatter tubes for free and ashes come in a sealed bag so you can always decide at a later date if you wish to move them to a box or plant;
  2. We will either call or message you to agree a suitable time for us to be with be with you or your vet;
  3. We make the collection and create a passport for your pet. The passport records each step through the process that your pet takes and can record any special wishes (such as playing any music at the cremation, including a favourite toy etc);
  4. Before the cremation, we carefully take a fur clipping and if you have ordered them, ink or clay pawprints;
  5. We also use a special scanner to read your pet's chip which we record on the pet passport as proof of identity;
  6. At the beginning of the cremation, we light a tea light and say a prayer (we can say whatever you prefer);
  7. After the cremation, we use a tiny brush to collect the ashes. They are put into a sealed bag and then into either the free scatter tube or box/ other item you have ordered;
  8. We put this into a box, together with the free tea light candle that we have lit, free fur cutting, free black wristband and free forget me not seeds, together with anything else you may have ordered. We retain the pet passport which has recorded date and time of cremation for our records;
  9. Unless you have ordered an in person return, everything is bubble wrapped and put into a pink plastic sleeve and returned via Royal Mail Special Delivery courier (this is separate from the Royal Mail post and is guaranteed, to be delivered to someone in person - it has to be signed for-  by 1pm the following day except for Sundays.
