How does it work?

1. Select your pet - if it's a dog, choose the appropriate size for cremation. 2. Choose your preferred collection and return method: £50 for return via special delivery or £100 for in-person return. 3. Opt for any extras such as paw prints and fur clippings. 4. Select the receptacle for the ashes. By default, ashes are placed in a sealed plastic bag and then in a scatter tube, included in the cremation cost. We also offer boxes that can be engraved upon request. 5. If your pet is at a vet, provide the vet's details in the notes section. We will coordinate the collection arrangements with you. 6. Complete the payment. We will retrieve your address from this information and contact you to confirm the collection. If it's during the night, we will reach out at 8am to arrange the collection.

We operate seven days a week. If we miss your call during the night, we will return it first thing in the morning to assist you.

Can you collect my pet in the middle of the night?

While you may reach us by phone at night, if you don't, we will call you back first thing in the morning. Our collections typically conclude at 5pm, but we may be flexible. If something occurs at night, don't panic. Your pet will be okay to be left for a while. Wrap them in their favorite blanket and keep them in a cool place.

Do you euthanize pets?

No, we don't. Your vet can perform this service, and we can collect your pet from either your vet or your home.

How long does it all take?

The cremation duration depends on the animal's weight and fat content. A rodent may take 40 minutes, while a chubby Labrador could take up to two hours. Ashes then need to be processed into a fine powder and cooled before being placed into the sealed plastic container. We offer same-day cremations for an additional charge, but the standard timeframe is two to three days. This also allows time for keepsakes to be arranged, such as fur clippings and paw prints.

What should I do with their things?

When your pet passes, you may have items that belonged to them, perhaps even an old pair of slippers if your pet was as naughty as our Snoopy! We suggest keeping a few treasured mementos, such as a collar or a toy. You can place them in a keepsake box alongside the ashes or frame them with a photo. Other items can be stored. While you may not be ready for another pet right now, you might welcome another furry friend into your life in the future. Give yourself time before making final decisions. If you prefer a clean break, we can take bedding, carriers, and food to our local Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in Windsor.
